Last November 11, Marc Geary shared his valuable insights from his long term career as Managing Director of Major Domus at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. This sharing event sought to understand what it means to have a career in a family office.
With a total of 17 years of experience across global financial markets Mr. Geary shared his insights on the family office, the students from HKUST learned about what a family office is and how it differs from other financial institutions. In an environment where a sudden demand for family offices in Asia for ultra-high-net-worth-individuals, Mr. Geary also discussed the future of the family office in Asia. Discussing as well the growing appeal of working for a family office especially in a climate where there is a present rapid wealth accumulation in the Asian market.
